Want softer and brighter bed sheets? Who doesn’t?!
Especially this time of year when the temperatures aren’t quite ready to climb above freezing and stay there. Do this next time you wash your sheets so you can go ahead and lean into that urge to hibernate.
Simply add baking soda & vinegar to your wash to make sheets silky soft. This works for cotton and poly blend fabrics. Put the baking soda in wherever you usually put detergent, and the vinegar goes in the fabric softener compartment, if you have one.
If not, add vinegar during the cold rinse cycle. (I’m sure you remember from science class, baking soda and vinegar neutralize each other, so adding them at the same time will cancel any benefit!)
This is all you need per wash:
- 1 c baking soda
- ½ c vinegar
Line drying leaves sheets in good shape while saving energy once spring rolls around. Don’t worry, it’s ok to start dreaming of warmer days!
Next time, ditch your old detergents. Earth Breeze is hypoallergenic, bleach-free, dye-free, certified cruelty-free, free of the stuff you don't need, and comes in totally biodegradable packaging instead of a big clunky plastic jug. Order some today at ___
Be well
