AVOID these FOUR laundry MISTAKES: Pt 4 – Say Hello to New Traditions

This time of year, take a pause and reflect on the things that are important to you.

You’re here, so I know you care about environmental sustainability. We all know plastic pollution is causing major problems, and I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir on this one so I’m only going to throw a couple statistics at you to make a point why I think Earth Breeze Eco Laundry sheets are the best choice in laundry detergent.

According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, only 9% of plastic waste is actually recycled out of the 15% that is collected worldwide. In the US, the vast majority of plastics end up in the landfill, including plastic laundry tubs.

As much as we want to think the plastic that is being recycled is being properly reused, NPR states that less than 5% of recycled plastic actually gets turned into new things, and also because plastic degrades after one or two uses, the more it is reused the more toxic it becomes.

It’s pretty obvious how important it is to reduce the amount of plastics we use on a daily basis. I bet you didn’t know how wasteful those liquid laundry detergents in their clunky plastic jugs really are?

Earth Breeze eco laundry sheets come in plastic-free, biodegradable packaging and are easy to use. You don’t even have to worry about messy spillage waste! Just add a sheet for a full load of laundry, or a half sheet for a small or lightly-soiled load. If you missed it, check out Part 3 of this series to learn how to use Earth Breeze eco laundry sheets as a stain pretreatment, along with other tips in the blog.

Some traditions are ready to be retired, like using old fashioned laundry detergent. Ring in a new tradition, and switch to Earth Breeze this holiday season. Makes a great last-minute gift for your college kids, too! Shop HERE
